day 3 of clean time day 5 of withdrawals!

day 3 of clean time day 5 of withdrawals!

Finally woke up this morning not drenched in sweat! I was so excited. My legs are weak but the RLS is minimum. I still have yet to become deathly sick so I am hoping I won't since I was just taking them for 2 months. My head feels clear however I keep thinking that I get my refill on the 1st I know I don't want it but its still tempting!

Don't get the refill.  You are so lucky to get off these pills now.

I just got off the phone with my Dr's nurse telling her I will not be needing a refill and that I stopped taking the medication due to personal reasons. She seemed confused but I also told her to note I am allergic to it as well. I know I can stay strong and do this. I really want my life back!

I was going to tell you to try and cancel/avoid that script. any way you can but you beat me to it! GOOD JOB BY YOU!! That toook a lot of courage!
There is nothing stopping you now, you can do this!
Your symptoms should not last much longer, doesn't seem like you were taking a very high dosage or duration.
It was very liberating, for me anyway, when I flushed my remaining pills (a full script) and cancelled my refills.
It gets better every day, and you will be glad you quit.
Try a hot soak if the RLS gets worse, and stay busy/exercise, it will help. I almost walked the legs off of my beagles when I quit!  LOL

I'm starting to feel good. I am looking up some after care options that everybody recommended yesterday. I am having my first cup of coffee in over a week so I'm starting to feel like me. I plan on going Christmas shopping with my mom tomorrow, I hope my legs hold up. I do feel a lot of pressure in my head though is that normal? I'm talking pressure like rocks and sand around my brain not pressure to use again. Is there something to help this?

Mmmmm....can you give me more details?  you just have the feelings in your brain?  The only pressure I had in my head was from a sinus infection that I got during WDs.

Also, when I was using I felt like I was in a fog but that foggy feeling lifted when I stopped using.  I also got "brain zaps" during withdrawals.

Not sure if that helps you at all.

I just feel like my head is about 30lbs its mostly in the front like my forehead area. I can't really think of another way to discribe it other then heavy and pressure, there is no pain with it... What are brain zaps?

So glad you made it to day 3. It's uphill from here. I'm on day 3 also. I felt great this morning. I had a big meeting this afternoon and am craving and tired now. I think my adreline has run out for now. I look forward to seeing how your day 4 goes. Your doing great and are lucky to decide to quit when you did. I had 3 years on hydros...blahh, I get sick even thinking about it.

I am so proud of you! I can only imagine what you are going through! The last time I was on them it was for about 8 months taking 10-12 10mg a day and coming down was HELL . I am greatful I caught myself starting the pattern again only after 2 months this time! It was much easier! I wish you nothing but the best and I'm always here if you need to talk. Did you try B 12 or L Tyrosin? That may help you with the energy.

I felt something similar to what you are describing with my head.  I just felt like my head weighed a ton.  It felt heavy when I lifted it off of a pillow.

Brain zaps are hard to describe but here goes.  The best way I can describe it is that it is kind of like an electric shock to your brain.  If anyone else out there can help me out with describing these????  If you had one you would know it.

How are you feeling now?
