What an amazing day! Went on a 2 hour ride with my dad on our horses! Wow first time riding with no pain pills! It was so amazing! My dad and I were talking about my addiction and he turned to me and said he was so glad to have his daughter back! Well if that isn't reason enough to stay clean then I don't know what is!
Then went to pick my husband up from the car dealership and he was fighting mad that the rental car company was closed! Had to calm him down, usually it's him that has to calm me down! They said he could not get a rental til Monday so I told him he could use my car. We left and half way threw grocery shopping they called and told him they had a rental for him..See you can get more from being nice! lol

Aww I have a big smile on my face, after reading your post. I am sooooo happy for you. I even got a little " teary eyed" when you and your dad talked about your addiction. Sooo sweet!!

Great Job..That was a nice up lifting post. I remember my Dad telling me he was so glad to see the light back in my eyes. There can be good days and bad days, and yes it is just life, BUT it is so nice to be able to handle any situation with a clear head..Keep it up..

I am such a daddys girl even at 47! lol Telling him was the hardest thing I ever did (besides stopping the pill use!) but I knew I had to. I told all my family so that they all knew why I was sick and what I was going threw! It really did make it easier to get threw this with their support! and of course all the support I receive every day on here! I love you all!

What an absolutely DELIGHTFUL post!!!!!!!!
I remember now you were going riding....2 hrs ??  And your Dad told you that??  Irreplaceable!!!  Priceless!!  No matter how old we get as "daughters", there is nothing better...absolutely nothing better...than knowing our Dad's are proud of us and love us~

Oh I know about those bad days and you are right they are so much better taking pills!!! thank you for what you post I do follow your responses and I for one take them for what they are worth! 21 months clean means a lot and I do believe you know what you are talking about! Great work yourself!

And as you already know, you'll still have bad days. Such is life, but as I've posted many times before - even my worst day clean is a hundred times better than my best day using. Thank you again. Keep posting - we all need your happy words.
