day 4 ....

by lilolme29, Nov 07, 2009 04:40PM
well, today is day 4, it was not to bad since the second my eyes poped open (minus all the wake up during the night) we as a family were on the go. soccer today....

I had a couple of times where I went in sat in the car, I needed a bit of down time and needed to be out of the 'light' but other than that I did good....

I still 'jones' sort of like wanting a smoke... but so totally knowing I can't have just one...

anyhow, my mom knows, although she too takes a lot of pain meds so she doesn't truly get it.  My sister is maybe my best person who truly gets it, since she was up to 20 pills a day and drinking on them and went through far more hell than I have.... so she is cheering me on.

my husband, my best friend- he told me I did really well, he always does and he supports me, I know I am lucky for him and my kids.

still a hard day, but not as hard as yesterday or so forth, so wd is getting better... now, to remember this so I never take another pill...

thanks so much for the support :)

After care is soooooooooooo important.Attending meetings,or one on one counseling. It's absolutely true that getting clean is the easy part, staying clean is the real battle.Scaredmom was wise to mention it to you.Nows the time to start getting some after care in place.Good luck to you...Kim
