day 7

by Struggeling09, Sep 19, 2009 11:05AM
Well i made it about a week now and yesterday my internet was down so i couldn't get on.Day 5 and 6 were the worst but today i feel a lot better, especially now that i can sleep better. I can actually lay still in bed which is huge! I feel so much better this morning I'm able to do a few things around the house and not feel dog tired. I feel like I can face society again so I guess It's time for the na thang. To anyone on days 1-5 hang in there it will get better.

When does the leg pain stop?  I tapered for 2 wks, yesterday I took my last pill. I had hoped tapering would help with the symptoms, but I guess I was wrong. Thank you for your kind words.  Do you have family support?

The legs and RLS should get better after the first 4-7 days. It all depends, because everyone's different when it comes to the recovery process.

I for one don't have leg pain, it's more like they are tense all the time. They just get restless only when i try to sleep, which is wicked annoying! But hey after day 5 every night they get better and better. As for family support I have none. They live in R.I. and would have been my last resort if I couldn't get this done on my own. Alls I have is the support of my gf of 2years which has been more than enough for me, oh yeah and this site. Even though I don't post alot it's always on my screen.

you need a longer taper. 2 weeks is to quick. That is my opinion for my last wean from killers. I for one get awful restless leg syndrome. How bad does that suck!!! I feel your pain. Just try not to let it over power your mind. It makes you nutty if you let it. Stay focused and hell will be over very soon. I would advise if while you are weaning off you are down to one or two and symptoms are very small that you just stop all together. Good luck.
