Congrats on your 1st week of freedom!
why don't you hit a gym? That will warm you up and help you with the wd's. Have a good hot shower after that.
Best of luck to you. sophie.

If you can exercise, GREAT! If you still feel too ill, hit the steam room or a sauna and drink plenty of Gatorade & water. Detox (sweat) that stuff out of your system ASAP. Plus it will warm you up…..

BTW, it was as if a light turned on for me on day 9. Not that I felt 100%, but it was a significant improvement from the previous 8 days!!

thanks for the suggestions all...

the gym is out for me...I'm a lazy couch potatoe! actually I do enjoy me some tai chi and/or yoga...wouldn't be bad to get back into that...

drinking hot coffee/tea...its helping...its just plain old freezing in my office...i did just take my vitamins though...that should help my circulation and therefor warm me up a bit. :)

walking is ok...I can do that and feel good. When i get home from work I usually play frisbee with the dog (of course, he wont let me NOT...lol)...so i get a bit of fresh air and excersize then too. thank God for my animals! Maybe I'll suggest a nice walk with my man tonight...we both need to lose weight.

Great Job on day 7 .I kinda feel the same way today myself (also on day 7.) It really does seem to help when I go outdoors Even for a short walk. Keep up the good fight.

Way to go getting this far desperate,  I have a couple of neat tricks for regulating my body temperature in that situation  (and in fact all the time now). One is a Bed Buddy. They sell them at Walgreens. A few minutes in the microwave and they emit warmth for quite a while. My wife uses hers at work. She just heats it up in the breakroom and plops it in her lap, and voila, comforting warmth for the next half hour. She also warms one up for under the covers every night before bed. I have made them as well. It is basically just a cloth bag filled with rice. The rice absorbs moisture in the air ( in a dry climate you might need to spritz it ) which microwaves can heat up. I made  a big flat one with velcro straps to hold it on my back and another that fits around the part of my leg with the screws in it.  In the depths of withdrawal I have propped up a blow dryer to point at my body all night long and I just turn underneath it like a pig on a spit. The warm air and the white noise can be very comforting. Good luck.

It is pretty common to have a down day like this.  Just get up and move around and a walk tonight would be good.  Maybe even move the couch around!!!  You are doing great so keep it going!!!          sara

I'm itching too...like crazy...is this part of the wd?

thanks for the encouragement.

i really appreciate it ...

and congrats on day 7 to you Prayformetoo! wahoo. we'll get through this...i know we will.

Kolo...a hair dryer in bed, eh? now THAT's kinky! lol

(ok, i can feel like poop and still flirt! LOL)

Im not sure if the itching is or not.....i know my skin looked like a lizard for awhile.  Could be one of the supplements......call the pharmacist and ask if there is a side effect to any of them.

I too was getting visuals of the hair dryer thing!!!!!  LOL
