Hello all... quick update from my ct off methadone.. still not sleeping very well.. day by day my energy is coming.. definitely loving life.. took half of a valium to help with the non sleeping.. didnt seem to help... but regardless I look at everything different.. even the little details of life tht my addiction has taken.. luckily I have no muscle pains very minor rls.. but I just cant seem to sleep.. but im sure it will come

Hey Jess good to see you grate to see you clean  so far so good your doing really well if all your having trouble with is the sleep  I know it is a pain in the @#$ but slowly it will come back  I sent you a message there is a meeting wensday night I sent you everything in a message it is at 7 brig your feonsay and join us I will look for you...Gnarly

Congrats....day 9 is awesome!  I know how hard you've worked to get there and am glad that you're seeing the light at the end of that tunnel.  Yeah, sleep was definatly the last to return for me but it did,  just as yours will.  Actually, I'm quite amazed how how long we can go without???  lol, I didn't think it was possible?  Don't try and take anything to help you sleep (pharmaceutical wise I mean) b/c it's more than likely not going to work and honestly, I'm sure you don't need any help "feeling" tired!  We feel like that already through this process.  Keep your head up and your eyes on that prize!  Methadone w/d is hard ****....you must be a very strong person to be able to endure it....be proud!

Yay!!! Congrats you are doing to great! Sleep will be the last to return but it should get better and better! I would try to distract myself so I did not just lay there all nigh! Reading or even watching TV b/c I knew I wasn't falling asleep until like 3am.
Keep up the good work and KEEP THAT GUARD WAYYY UPPP!!!!!!!!
