did alcohol do this to u

by gwen2002, Jun 21, 2008 09:42AM
I was always a under weight person until I was hooked on alcohol for the past five yrs. I started alcohol to block the pain I was going threw. Now I have been off alcohol since april well drunk i mean (I have had six wine coolers one night) Which I am still very proud of being able to stop drinking at 6 never had any since then. But in the five yrs I drank I gain 50 lbs. Now it has been over 2 months that I have been drunk, I never lost not even 1 pound yet.Is it possible to lose the alcohol stomach? I did notice that my face looks thinner, and I have people telling me that I look like I have lost weight, but yet I never lost any.How long does it take to start losing the weight?
