sleeping is essential to recovery..if u feel like dog mess due to lack of sleep..it can make u weak...and cause u to use...ambien can be abused but as a rule it is not as addictive as benzos not many sleep meds..so just be safe and have some sleep on me!

I hope you sleep :) I know it can be the hardest thing on earth during withdrawals. been there way too many times...recently in fact! try some melatonin too, I did 6mg with my little bit of xanax and slept like a log. I'll pray for you :)

Okay, here I go again on my "Anti-Ambien" kick.  Even though the commercials and many doctors tell you that they are non-narcotic, etc,, they are so very dangerous.  Please, please, please only take them as directed and when prescribed by YOUR doctor.  I quickly became addicted to them and had a 2 year run with them and they almost caused me to kill myself on more than one occasion.  I have been clean from them since January 3, 2008 and I don't ever want to go through that again.  My life was upside down during that time, and by the grace of God I remained alive and out of jail (driving while under the influence).  They will make you do things you never dreamed your would do.

I have found that "Rapid Sleep PM" from wal-mart works wonders.  And remember, this is coming from a person who couldn't even close her eyes without a sleeping pill.  Just please be careful with those things because the addiction will slip up on you before you know it.

Good Luck
Susan
