No, smoking was not in play in my case. This is just pure speculation, but given that sneezing is a common w/d symptom (though it's diminished, I still have sneezing bouts) I am wondering if there is a connection and if this system of the body is impacted by w/d? Along with the dilated pupils, in my case, when reading or watching t.v. the congestion/pressure worsens, perhaps triggers a reaction? Seems to be a direct cause/effect. Also, opiates repress coughing and with stopping smoking your body may be trying to purge mucous that has built up. Again, all speculation, I will monitor it, see a dr. if need be. Congrats on your 2 weeks!
Wow, I am amazed at your post. I stopped Norco myself 2 or so weeks ago. The congestion is terrible; my eyes are also fatigued, red and hurt just like you describe. I've been using Musinex along with decongestant every day. I also stopped smoking over 2mos ago, but the congestion got way worse after stopping the Norco. All a coincidence, I don't know. It is both in my chest and sinuses. You didn't happen to stop smoking recently along with the Norco quit, did you?
Congrats to you on 40 days!
i had the blurry vision but no congestion or sinus pressure...i agree with Pat, you might have a sinus infection....best to check with your doctor. Good luck!
You may have a sinus infection and need an antibiotic. I would check with my doctor if I was you.
