heroin is too abstract a dose to give you a conversion.......certainly you realize that not all heroin is even close in potency ........ south american. mexican. burmese. afghani - - -just too varied.........and subject to adulteration at will...........how long the morphine?  You are still within (although at strong pain requirements) the dosing range of morphine.....taper the morphine at 20mg per week for a couple weeks.....then do the same at 15mg .......decrease so you do not have strong abdominal cramps......dont go so fast that the w/d's become a problem.................and just forget about the smack - - -

the lower you can get your taper down, the better. i got my morphine down from near 200+ mg a day to 30mg twice a day. the wds still aren't fun, but it's doable. unfortunatley, everyones lows seem to be different. i'm not a huge fan of christmas these past few years so i'll have more lows than others may this month. glad to hear that you're off the fentynal, nasty stuff, worse than morphine. not as bad as heroin though. keep tapering down, pick a stop date, tough through it, and pray. best of luck to you, keep posting here often.

i have done both drugs, there is no way to say this for sure
but based on my experience, i say thats about 6bags/ballons
both drugs do the same thing to your body
can you use darvocet to taper off the patches? well i know you can...would you consider using darvocet instead of the morphine?
are you taking the meds for injury/illness?

Hi Fentanyl in form of patchs is one the worse ways to apply opiates.. i have been prescribed 100mcgh for 5 yrs. and the equivilant doses is around

Pethadine 75mg per hour

fentanyl in form of durogesic patch is pathetic, plus the pharma companys do not have any data in long term effects. in UK i one of only few patients  with experience with this, as such been advising the producers on side effects

fentanyl roughly is at worse 500% stronger than average uk street heroin. so 100 mcgh is like a gram or 3 of heroin a day.

Mst is much much better way to regulate long term pain, as it has a more effective distrabution to the pain reseptors, plus its side effects are nominal in comparisson.

i have been treated with massive doses of most opiates for over 15yrs now including DHC, MST-inc oramorph and fentanyl....if there anything i can help with.. ***@****

fentanyl in durogesic form (patchs) should be banned. just check the intentional and accidental overdose records for US
