Yesterday was tough.  My hubby gave my calves a good massage and then I slept w/ hot water bottles on them.  Hot baths helped too.  This morning they are a whole lot better but woke up with a bad back ache.  My butt cheeks are sore too.  I just think I've been laying in bed too long.  Got up around 4:30 and paced the floors about what to take.  Didn't have any Midol in the house.  Yesterday I took Tylenol for arthritis, no help there.  This morn I took an ibuprofen and feel better.  I took a total of 1 1/2 pills yesterday, all in 1/2 doses.  Today will be the first day that I won't be taking any narcs.  Overall, I feel a lot better and my head is a lot clearer.  Funny how you just get used to living in a fog.  Got a massage scheduled later this week w/ my regular guy.  I can't stress enough how much benefit massage is.

Sorry about being so bitchy earlier last week.  I guess trying to detox after having a bug is not a good idea.  I just thought that since I had already purged my system that it was a good time to start.  Anyway, for the first time in a week I feel like I can actually walk around the house and do something.  My neck and shoulder pain has decreased so much that I think I can now manage naturally.  Funny how you don't or won't realize that while taking the drugs.

Massage is wonderful.  My husband was a therapist back in the early 90's.  Doesn't practice now so I usually get from another guy.  It's kinda like the shoe salesman who's children go barefoot, lol.  Same thing with me too.  I was a cosmetologist back then but won't cut hair now.  Ended up getting into the legislature in Florida.  The 2000 election drove us both to Vermont.  Sorry is I offended anyone.

Bennington is a great place.  I'm not far from there.  I forgot to mention that for a long time now I've been doing my own version of yoga.  That has helped my neck and shoulder muscles a lot.  Gotta give them a good stretch.  I was so uncomfortable when I was working because I spent so much time at teh computer.  I had gotten to the point where I was self adjusting my neck 20-30 times throughout the day.  Talk about an addiction!!!
