drug withdrawal

I have been taken hydrocodone off an on. Recently for 3 months up to 8-10 per day. How long will it take to get this out
of my system and what can I do to avoid some of the withdrawal systewms. I quit before but I hurt bu back several months
before at work.  What is a natural detox remedy?

Go to the "health pages" check out the Thomas recipe and the amino acid protocol .They have both been helpful for many members .the worst of the physical wd should be over in about a week but then you have to deal with the mental part .I would find some recovery care aa/na a addiction doctor something its a must if you want to stay clean ,good luck

physical detox from ur DOC/dose/ should be well less than a week..or at most a week...lots depends on attitude and preparation,,,after that, it is the mental aspect of addiction that will bite u in the rear end..take care of this aprect..so often peeps spend so much time worrying about feeling flu-like for a few days they forget to do the work.the work they gotta do...aftercare

The amino acid protocol is working really well for me.  To get the entire protocol can be a little pricey ($60-100) but well worth it.  I actually started the amnio's some at least 8 months ago and stepped them up as I finished my last taper.  I feel like my body is getting stronger and the w/ds are very mild so far, I am on Day 4 today.  As everyonse says aftercare and support is what is going to help you to understand what the drugs meant in your life and how to make sure you keep them out.  Hang in there!
