Day 2
Still feel terrible but trying to stay positive.... I'm guessing someone comes in here and changes our posts if they are...what? too detailed? use questionable language? That's kinda funny since we're all drug addicts....
Looking for humor cause that makes me feel better. Thank you... oh proof reading internet god or goddess for we know not what we do!
Good Morning, Just checking on you. Stay strong, your almost there!
HI YOU have been givin great advise all I want to add is try to change your attitude right now your suffering it dosent have to be this way go into this with a positive attitude and yes you will be uncomfortable but it beats suffering this is all about attitude and I truly believe this is a battle one or lost in ones own mind remember this is 1/3 physical 2/3 mental be ready to fight on both fronts you can do this right now your in acute withdrawals it shouldent get any worst but going threw it for 3 more days may make it seam like it does do your best to hang in there keep posting for support and read thae other post good luck and God bless.......Gnarly
Hey, take lots of hot baths! That will help immediately.....as soon as you sit down in the water. Definitely stay hydrated. Take some Imodium. Keep comfy clothes on and rest when you can! It will be hard, but hang in there! : )
my post got deleted! Hang in there, YOU will do this!
Bananas and water. The last thing you'll want to do is exercise, but walk a little if you can. If you can get that up, I promise the exercise will help.
YES, call in sick and take care of you. But don't waste going through this hell for nothing. I've done that. Gone through hell only to take the pills again? Waste. Hang in there. It really will get better.
I'll pray for you!
I'm just going to call in sick and tell everyone that I have the flu. I know it ***** but the alternative is to keep using and I just don't want to any more. I'm done with this.
drink as much water and gatoraid as you can
hot baths or showers help
i used to get in bed or on the couch and put on old movies. i couldn't really watch and i couldn't really sleep, but it was better than being up.
the Thomas Recipe helped (but skip the benzos)
if you don't use, you'll slowly, but surely, get better. if you give in and use, you get immediate short term relief, but you'll stay in the hell of active addiction and the hell of very early recover will be put off for another day (that may or may not arrive)
