eating

food feels weird in my mouth and makes me nauseated.......whats with that?

Might be the withdrawal or the meds, both  can take appetite away and food loses all  appeal!!!

Are you going thru withdrawels?  If so, yes that can be pretty common. But you must make sure you eat and push fluids or you can make the w/d's worse. Try to find something that you can get down, soup , crackers, fruit. Try getting Boost with protein, they have alot of vitamins and don't taste to bad. You need extra protein and amino acids.  good luck and hang in there.

Oh How I wish you would have slowed down your taper but hang in their as everyday it can get better!!! I dont even know you but I feel your pain, as I to have done cold turkey many times off oxycodone & I remember when certain smells & the taste of food was awful. Your tougher then I, Penelope
