enlarged cells

My question is What is enlarged cells. Everytime I go to my doctors for a pap smear they tell me I have enlarged cells and that I have to quit drinking. I do drink to much and can't or won't stop and I want to know how much damage am I doing to my liver. They say that the enlarged cells get larger when io drink alcohol and that it bores big hole in my liver. Is there a treatment ot cure?
