t3 is has 30mg codeine/350mgtylenol lortab has hydrocodone(like vicodin-5mghydrocodone/500mgtylenol or 7.5mg hydrocodone/750mg.tylenol), they are two chemically different drugs but hydrocodone is more potent than codeine.

hydrocodone works on defferent ypes of pain for me than codeine, like headache, 2 tylenol4 would help with a headache for me but no amount of hydrocodone is. On average I would say a tylenol3 or 4 might help with the same pain as 5 or 7 mg of hydrocodone

thanks alot .  so hydro more addictive then codiene right, the withdrawl (withdrawal) would be worse then says comming o o codiene .  Its been 5 years and the codiene still works and thats everyday sort o anazing really you'd thinbk my tolerence would be way up there could it be I never take more then 4 30 mg tabs o codiene. per day I'm pretty militant about that.  hydro doesn't really eel the same as codiene to me.  I get thenm prescribed my doc doesn't seem too worried should I be.  I eel ok just constipated now and then, they help with mild back ppain which is very annoying.

No problem! Hydrocodone is not necessarily more addictive but it is stronger and harder to come off of for some. Everyone is genetically and biologically different. It took over 7 years before I had withdrawals if I didn't take hydrocodone. That is definitely not the norm. Doctors usually prescribe tussionex (what i take) for 20 days or less, often 10 days or less. None of my pharmacists had ever seen refills on it until me. I built a tolerance to it after about 6 years and started taking two tsp in stead of one twice a day and that is how it is prescribed to me now. Some people just aren't as susceptible to tolerance and/or dependence as most others. So you are doing great it you have been taking the same dose for 5 years and it is still effective! As for the constipation opiates will do that to you. When opium and morphine first hit the shelves (back when you could get it over the counter) it was taken for cough and diarrhea because opiates paralyze the muscles in the intestinal tract and suppress the respiratory system. This is why many cough syrups (like mine) have an opiate in them. For the constipation most opiate users take an otc laxative when needed, prune juice or you can do what I do: Eat tons of fiber and make sure you stay hydrated b/c fiber without water can make constipation worse.I eat a fla seed cereal with 7mg. of fiber per serving and eat at least 5 or 6 bowls(with propel fitness water or something with electrolytes to stay hydratyed b/c opiates will dehydrate you) a day. I'm sure you wouldn't need that much, I've had problems with constipation pretty much since I was born so I take way more fiber than most.

Anything else you need please let us know! I hope this is helpful
