fake Rx

I had my prescription cancelled by my pharmacy and I was told it's a fake.  I'm really terrified because they said it's up to the police now.  Does anyone know if I should be looking over my shoulder for the cops to arrest me now?

Don't say anything to anyone - period.  The accusation is a felony.  Go see a lawyer immediately.  That lawyer is the only person you should confide in.

Well, a forged Rx certainly is a crime, how SEVERE of a punishment depends on a LOT of things, what med it was written for and how much, if there were other forged scripts before that, the criminal history of the person involved, etc.

Can you give us some more info?  If you forged a script, I would advise you to seek legal advice ASAP and start getting some help for your addiction.

In most states it is a felony to modify or write a fake prescription.  So jail time at worst, thousands if dollars in fines at best.
