you might should check out the Pain Management Forum.  Unless I misunderstood your post.  Most ppl here are trying to get off all pain meds all together forever.  Not that theyre meds arent working and theyre looking for something to work better.

Hello Angz, I want to ask that you for your own good to GET OFF THE PATCH!!!  I was on it for 2 years and it stole alot from me.  ALOT.  And, the longer you're on it, the HARDER it is to get off.  There are other options.  It is not for the living.  Did u know it is 80-100 times stronger than morphine.  That was a real eye opener for me....

Fentanyl r very strong...what mcg patch r u on?  u have only been on it a fe months...what is ur pain issue?  as a rule here they rx those to thse with cancer etc....most drs do not rx them for back pain..and i am glad of this so i didnt end up on one...getting off the patch can be hard and unless it is a lifetime pain control...and not a long lifetime..the odds are against u due to tolerence that narcotics present
Not sure ur an addict..i do think u may have gotten on this a know u want off..and that is a good thing...r u taking any pain meds for break through pain?...but at a few monts//depending on the patch dose//u should be fine

As mentioned there is a great pain forum here on MedHelp...also..when u stop//as most of that forum does not///u can benefit from the info here as well and also the health pages for ohysical wds if that occurs

glad u r posting and keep on posting
