I have only been going to the clinic for over 3months. Well my last day at the clinic was Wednesday, I had a 10mg dose. Well its Sunday and I was throwing up and have bad hot and cold flashes. How's long is this gonna last????

Hello, what was your highest dose and a big congrats on stopping... I stopped at 3 mg after 10 yrs with a max of 100 mg and my worst withdrawals lasted 10 days then eased up but no sleep and rls lasted a good month. How fast you dropped and max dose to 10 will make a difference. I tried to stop at a higher dose but couldn't. We are all different but methadone has no favors. 3 months 3 yrs it will be very hard. Hang in there it does get better....

Ya I agree with Merri  a week or 2 tops  sleep will also be just about impossible you havent been on it long so it shouldet be to bad  keep posting for support
