getting off methadone

I have been on methadone for over 4 years. I am on it for cronic back pain. I am currently not taking it anymore. And I am going through a living hell. I dont have insurance nor the money to go to a Doctor. What can I do to eaze the withdrawals. I have to work to support my family, so I cant be to messed up to work. PLEASE HELP PLEASE!

I understand where you're coming from.I kicked methadone 9 months ago.Went c/t off of 25 mgs,it's a rough road.Mr.lucky is right about the meds,they might be able to help a little.I feel for your situation.Methadone detox takes some time.How long have you been off of it?

What can help you the most are some meds you could get from a doctor. Valium, clonidine and bentyl for stomach cramps. I kicked methadone a few times and you get get through it with nothing but some of these meds can help a lot.
