getting your smell back?

i just read on the success stories where someone posted about "regaining your smell" - does anyone know more about this? I seem to notice not being able to smell things much in the past while using hyrdro - is this a side effect of continued use? I did not associate it to the pills, but after reading that it made me think....

I sneezed like mad...great bigviolent sneezes in rapid succession that went on forever and happened all day...

Yes I have seen many post that they were sneezing like crazy during the wd time. Not sure if it was days weeks or what. But it does pass.

Zinc is supposed to help with sense of smell but I have no experience with it.

I was wondering & noticing the same thing.  Plus, I also noticed while on the opiates, my allergies were mainly non-existant.  Now that I am off them (12 days) I have been sneezing like crazy.  I don't think I have sneezed as much as I have in the past 10 days in my whole life.

Anyone else sneezing like crazy?

just wondering if this was a common thing, as i had someone tell me something smelled strong, and i didn't think so.. plus, when detoxing you're all stuffed up  - so i wonder if that has something to do with it

For the last few years of using, I thought it was just my allergies until I quit. It really is GREAT to know what stuff actually smells like..but sometimes I just wanna puke. I am a smoker & the smell of cigarettes on someone else actually makes me disgusted. It really is one of the strangest things I've ever experienced! I have been bathing my dog almost every day, where as before it was 1 a week.LOL
