gf dabbling while i wanna quit

hiya.im a lil worried about my gf.shes had sum debauched family suff going on.after a lot of convincing she was Rxd oxazepam for anxiety and triazolam(halcion)for sleep.she never had a true addiction altho she does dabble.im 31 and shes 20 and in concerned shes gonna get hooked inspite of my example of irrisponsible drug use.i never thought her capable of abusing but i noticed her bottles are nearly empty and her demeaner is changing.i cant deal with a junky gf,not while im still struggling myself.

Talk to her... she seems to be masking whatever is going on with her with the benzo's and sedatives. maybe she needs to talk to a professional.. you have been there.. you know a little of what she needs right now.. be there for her and help her pull herself out before its too late.

FLaddict's suggestions were good. Maybe your g/f thinks as long as she stays away from the drugs you were doing she's safe. She's lucky to have you there to give her the knowledge she needs. If she chooses to use it, she will avoid getting where we are today. God, I hope she listens. Just balance the criticism with warmth and understanding.

How are you doing?? It's good to "see" a familiar face. I am on a 12mcg patch now. After this one I will be done with them. I hate fentanyl. Our paths will never cross again.

I can't even imagine if my husband was an addict. He always seems to be my rock. You should definately have a talk with her. Maybe she needs help now too. But maybe she just doesn't realize what it's doing to you or her. If she's not an addict than she can stop.
