Hi,
Yes, I noticed after a year of taking percocets, the hair thinning, did all kinds of research on it, but couldn't find anywhere that said directly opiates were responsible for hair loss. Mind you, my source had hair loss, and dental issues due to use, as her doctor told her. I'm also aging, so it could be that too, who knows. We wake up one morning and we're old LOL!!!! BUT, clear in mind and body!! I'm celebrating that, no matter what I look like now!!
Hey guys, just throwing this out there......I just stopped taking my antidepressant two months ago and one of the big reasons for me doing that was the hair loss. I was taking wellbutrin. It has considerably subsided falling out....now just waiting on noticing the regrowth in another couple of months. Please note this was NOT the main reason I stopped taking it; I mean, I'm vain but.................no wait, I'm just f*cking sorry @ss vain, ownin it. Hahahahahaha. Hope you are all rockin it guys, hugs.
Wow I am going through that now! Luckily I have thick hair lol
I also went through this a few months after I had my son! I used to freak out about it!
I went thru a spell after quitting where every time I washed my hair, I lost lots of hair. When I brushed it, too. It subsided as I began to heal~
I don't lose any now.....and it didn't last too long.
I don't think so but clonidine a blood pressure med that kinda helps wds can cause hair loss.
