happy early new year! goals for 2008...

haven't seen a post like this yet....not sure if many people care/celebrate the new year or not, but for myself it is more a time of reflections, etc. Thinking about this past year, obstacles and trials i have gone through, and still dealing with....i have realized that i have felt very selfish this past year. focusing so much on ME and my problems, my health issues/ disease, no one cares about me issues....it did nothing but waste my time, i got nothing positive from it what so ever. Yes, it does suck that i have health problems, but that shouldn't be my excuse to sit around and have pity parties, or be in a bad mood because "I just don't feel good!".

This year I am really going to try my best to limit ANY perscription pill use (not just referring to pain pills but all pills the docs want me on). Taking them all has done nothing but keep me in a standstill and I am quite sick of it. I am going to really discipline myself in what i put in my body, focusing on diet and exercise. People didn't have pills back in the day, and certain tribes and what not got by pretty well.....So I am going to see what happens. If all else fails, I will just research more stuff and hopefully get some alternate medicine care!

To a new year, new goals, and a clean state of moving on.....and staying strong with plenty of willpower!!!
