I won't ******** anyone, there is only 1 thing i have not been addicted to,Everyones addiction is different, the outcome is the same.
Either you want you life back or u don't,your choice, this place is here to help you get thru that.
I wrecked my life once, well maybe twice, now it is in shambles again, don't know bout you but i am sick of it.You have 2 choices, get clean or,well.U now.
Another long hard road, but it maes us who we become, and that is something others have not experienced and in my mind,if we make it out alive then are better people for it.
There are many paths to sobriety, the key is a great counselor and doctors to hep aong the way.Wishing you the best

N as far as worse than one or the other it all depends on how you use it honestly but speed is not an opiate at all methondone is actually stronger than heroin and far far stronger than oxy to however just being a stronger med doesn't not really mean its a more euphoric med if that's what you mean by worse.

I know how you feel about ppl who don't know what it's like telling you how to do it but just don't let it get to ya they are only really trying to help ya. I also used hydrocodone oxy dilaudid opana and all the opiates I could find however I didn't go the methadone route I chose suboxone because I liked the ceiling effect part of it due to the fact there is really no getting high on suboxone when you have an opiate tolerance like I do but anyhow u say you went the methadone route what exactly do you mean by that are you on methadone now or are you doing this cold turkey?

Hi there superfreak, welcome to the forum. I am on methadone myself, have been on it for 7 years and have been tapering for over 2 years, I am now down to 11mgs and doing fine. I don't know anything about speed but I do know that methadone is harder to get off than heroin is. Could you please give us some more information so we can try and help you? How much methadone were you taking and for how long? Do you plan on quitting these drugs cold turkey or by tapering. Tapering will make your withdrawals less than if you didn't taper. I believe that the heroin detox is harsh but is over with much faster than methdadone detox. So we really need some more information from you. There are 2  members on this forum that are very well versed in methadone detox and I am sure they will be by and see your post and respond to it, those people are Weaver and Gnarly, I will leave the rest up to them. I am open to questions should you decide to do a taper, we  are not allowed to give tapering advice on this forum but you can PM me and I will tell you what I have done to be successful up until now. I hope you get the answers you are looking for..Gayle
