harley crasher here

Well thought i would update,i can actually type a little today, after my wreck last sat i took count of the pilis ive eaten,now remember i have never before taken pain meds,one or two and puking. since sat nite until 6 AM this morning, i have eaten 20 vicadin05/500,and 40 vicadin 05/350. so i stopped and have been on only tylenol since this morning. i do feel a bit of anxiety but the pain isnt too awful, not good but not awful. i have a scrip for 40 more but i figure i better wait till sunday cause thet were suppose to last till monday nite. maybe i wont get them, i think i can ride this horse of pain now,i actually putbon and tied my own shoes today. i never really got a buzz until yesterday when i caught myself falling and the shoulders went ARGH, SO I DOUBLED UP AND TRIPLED UP. thats when i did get a buzz,mostly sleepy. Glad to see you post. You have real pain but maybe you could try to taper off the opiates and see if your pain level is where tylenol or advil will help?? If it's not you could take it from there. You have found that you're addicted to the vic's, right??

Would it be possible to give some of the pain meds to your harley?? It probably needs them, too.(just trying to lighten the mood.) The vic's have a lot of tylenol in them and that's what will mess with your liver so maybe stay away from them. (I know I already said to try tylenol)

Keep us updated and when it's time decided what you're gonna do. It's good that you made a few steps today. Always start small. Don't be a stranger......Take Care......LS

The Harley comment made me laugh.  I didn't get it at first...and then understood, and it made me smile, so thank you for that!  It's been a rough afternoonl...

Pheggie, I wish you luck, it's hard when you actually need the meds for pain, and to try to keep it under control.  It's something I've been dealing with the past few months.
