help me please....

I was here about 4 weeks ago looking for help for my husband, long story short he went cold turkey of oxycontin and has been clean for about 4weeks or so I thought today I found a capsule with nothing in it and the only words I got of it were ____morph contin? I would to find out what this is and nned some help Please.!!!

Well, it soudns like he has went back to using from the sounds of it. The medicine you are describing sounds pretty much like a time-released morphine.  Like oxycontin is a time released oxycodone, ms-contin or ora-morph contin is a morphine that is time released just meaning that it releases the morhine over a longer period of time rather than immedietely.. Sounds to me like he broke that time release trying to get the full affect of the pill immedietly, which alot of addicts, and abusers of these type narcotics do..

Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news, but I think you need to take the capsule to him and ask him straight out what is going on!  BEST OF LUCK, AND PLEASE KEEP US POSTED OK!?

You can look it up under "pill identification" at rxlist.com or type in what you remember seeing on the pill into the "google search engine" and maybe type in pictures with the title as well.  

Even if you do look it up and find it, like I said it is MORPHINE!!  Yes, it is snorted as well by addicts!  It sounds to me that if he has been sneaking them and taking them.  Also, why did he take it from you and flush it?  It was already empty, it wasn't like he was doing himself or you anything good out of it.. If the capsule was empty then HE TOOK IT!

Also, what drug/or drugs was he using in the past before he said he was quitting?  Also what amount was he taking each day?  Was this morphine you found a new type of pill or the same ones as before?  Just trying to help, and the more we know the better we can help..

Plain and simple now I have to dothis all over or maybe it's better I just end this between us I don't think I can take any more thank-you for ur time and I will keep u posted

He was on about 140 mg per day of oxy's maybe  more for just over a year

Yeah, oxycodone is my drog of choice as well> IT IS THE DEVIL IN DISGUISE!  

You are the only one that can make that decision about staying with him or not, but yes as far as the progress you thought was made it is gone!  He has to start all over back at square one.. We call this relapsing.. It is a hard thing to love and addict!  All of my closest family are addicts and my fiancee is super clean and never been addicted yet she is in love with me for 14ys now and it has to be hard for her..

I would tell him that you need him to make some real efforts to get and stay clean! MEANING PROFESSIOANL HELP!  IN-TREATMENT REHAB..  

It is all up to you though, and only HE CAN DECIDE TO QUIT AND BE CLEAN!  SORRY, THIS IS SOMETHING YOU CANNOT DO FOR HIM!! AS MUCH AS IT HURTS!

Did you ask him out right if he was useing again? Did he know the cap was empty? Where did you find it? Could this cap possibly have been a stray from the useing days? Have any words been spoken between you at all? Alot of us have found stray pills after we quit. What did he say about it? He flushed it, did he think you were gonna take it? Sorry, not enough info to make any judgement on this situation.
