help with addiction doctors

My husband is an alcoholic and addicted to prescription drugs Xanax and Ativan up to 16mg of each per day "but that 's ok because they were prescribed by a  Wash. U psychiatrist".  "And you know nothing about psychiatry".  Now mind you I am a darn good nurse of 25 years and have learned a great deal about addiction over the last year or so, more than I ever cared too.... His current psychiatrist represcribed his current meds after he had been detoxed knowing he had a problem.....  I have spoken to his psychiatrist and he doesn't get it.  I know addiction psychiatry is a sub specialty of sorts in the world of psychiatry.  Anyone know of anyone really good in the St. Louis area?  Who can also deal with the additional issues of anxiety, depression, PTSD and whatever baseline personality disorder he has ?

I sent them an email and they responded very fast with a contact to an addiction specialist in my area
