If you have the willpower to taper I would say give it a try. The problem with tapering is it takes so much willpower. I was able to do it once and it helped quite a bit. The other times I had to go cold turkey because if the pills were here, I would gobble them up. If you have someone to hold the pills for you that is even better. I would drop by a half or 1 pill every 3 to 5 days. Once you get down to 1 take a half in the am and the other half in the pm. Just go by how your body feels. If you feel comfortable dropping your dose quicker, go for it. You just don't want to take 2 pills one day and 3 the next. If you ever notice you are taking more than what your taper plan, I would just go cold turkey. I have to hit the sack but will try and get on and let you know some things that can help while going through withdrawals. Just prepare yourself mentally and you will make it through this! Best of luck and if you need anything, please let me know!

I have a journal in my profile on what "I" feel is a good taper program.
