I have been on oxy 20mg ER, for 1 yr, then moved onto Morphine for 1 yr, and they were 15mg tabs. I was told my a new doc, after mine was arrested and thrown in jail, that he won't continue my meds. So he told me to take 1 tab in the am for 14 days and then go off of them. I did yesterday was my last day. I felt fine yesterday, a tiny craving, But lastnight I was sweating like I did when I dropped to the 1 tab a day. I have had diarreha all day, and a terrible head ache. How long is this going to last, were moving out of state this weekend and I have to drive my car. Am I going to be alright to drive. I have heard it all peaks at 36 hrs so how long does this last? Oh and the RLS is awful at night. I am so mad that I have taken this horrible drug, and that the man that gave it to me, get arrested, and he told me to have a nice life, the am after he got out of jail and was by his office, I went up to him and said how can you do this to all your pt. he said have a nice life, oh boy am I, withdrawing from meds, and I have Fibromyalgia.

Hi,
Buy some lomitil for your stomach,  use motrin, any kind of advil for aches,
drinks lots of fluids, . try hot baths for your legs. There is no easy way out of it but your doing great. Since you have no choice but to move you'll probably do it but your gonna feel weak,
Do you have a family dr you can call? If so I would really recommened that or find a new one. There are good ones left that you can be honest about what you want.. If your not looking for pills. just help. a compassionate dr will help you. A person should never have to put up with a dr  treating you bad. Remember a dr is there to help you, if he is' treating you like **** , leave,  remember it's your money and or (health ins ,) paying him. He suppose to be doing you a service, not a disservice.  Look for someone new.

Thank you for your help. I was hoping that being on the lowest dose would make the withdrawals less, I guess not. ugg to the 4th day, I am moving this weekend to San Diego, and was hoping this would be better. I am drinking lots of green tea and water. This just *****....but thanks for commenting, support helps so much when your going through this.

I wish there were an easy way to get off of any opiate but just isn't the case that I can see.  Everyone is different but usually the 4th day is the worse one to get through, but the flu symptoms can last 10 plus days.  Then the depression, mood swings lack of energy all hit which for me has been horrible as well.  
I'm sure there are others on here that are more articulate than I am that will come along with advice.  I know for me that I stopped drining soda, drank a ton of water to keep my body flushed.
