if you been doing opites for whatever reasons.if you have only did them say 3 monthes..you will get sick but not the same time frame.your brain hasn't had time to grab the drug.now like myself ive been on percs for 9 yrs off on.but never over 40 mgs for pain control. the detox comes from the duration you have took them.the mgs you took not even included? say your on 500mgs of oxys for 4 yrs,yes your going to be sick up to 7-10 days.me I detxod from methadone 5mgs yea just 5mgs,on them 4 yrs.21 DAYS PURE HELL!! so were all going to get sick.if your doing it to recover and stop you have a better success rate..some people can seem like its nothing but a 3 day cold.thats just how they are.but belive me,most will be uncomfortable..symptoms at 1st teary eyes,yawning,runs,cold chills,i mean like cold sweats to the bone!! nervesness,depression,,cant sleep for up to 4 days or longer..there are a lot of home things you can use,like melontin for sleep,imdoium for the runs..or get a script from your primary doctor.CLONDINE this helps a lot of things,chills the RLS may help you sleep..or even try 25mgs of serquil for sleep.your going to want to try anything to help you,,please don't use anymore..thanks    sorry my grammar.

hey Jim good to see you you back it has been a wile...thanks for the heads up post people need to know what there going to go threw to get to the other side the only thing I can add is this critical step....AFTERCARE
so many people try to do this alone and fail outside support is the magic bullet.....for this addict the N/A program works the best..... it is free the meetings are only a hour long and rather then focus on the individual drug it focus. on the common denominater....the addict in your head....long after the drugs stop the addict in your head is going strong so google a N/A meeting near you by the way are you detoxing again..?? let us know and keep posting for support
