honesty best policy!!!!!!!

just a quick update, I did get a refill on my hydros but they are gone now, so i get to start all over again. my own stupid fault i know but its the truth. I get to about day two and feel like im crawling out of my skin it  makes my head crazy, but i have burned every way of getting any now so i guess this is it. So anyone who reads this please help....Luv to all Chros

Thank u for that! I thought i might get someone who would say i need to grow up and deal with it or just forget about it b/c that is what my family always says to me and they do not understand opiate addiction.
The thing of it is in three years ive been addicted i have tried to quit so many times and never have even come close sometimes i feel like maybe i just cant do it. Thank u for being here for me it helps so much i will be needing all the support i can get in the next few days weeks months whatever how ever long it takes i guess! lol lots of luv to u ~~~Chros

chrosty, girl if it were just a matter of growing up we would all be able to overcome addiction . To bad there is soooo much more to it :)
The one thing I do know however is you do really have to want to get clean with every thing inside you, if not it wont work, you will find some other way to get pills , You have to look deep inside you and find out why you use and if you really want to stop , we are all here for ya !!! i really think you can do it if you put your mind to it .

I'm learning that even just after 10 mos. on meds (and not really abusing) that on day 17 I am having to relearn what it is like to be clean.  For, me it has been exteremely uncomfortable. I t's different for everyone!!!  I do find that I keep myself busy (main my mind) I do much better.  However this has been no bed of roses.  When I came home from the hospital (semi-consious) all I could say to my teenagers was "don't do drugs", they got a kick out of that.  What's sad about that is in the back of my head I keep thinking "ya know there are still some meds in the garage".  One day at a time!!!!!

We are here for you.  You will make it, you have a beautiful spirit and many who care about you.  I too refilled my viks and am now going to have to start all over again.  I am tapering and should be completely out by Thursday.  I hope you continue to post, your words help many.
