Hello and welcome. I was Norco 10/325 at 8 per day for 10 years. I am 160 something days clean from it, and I know the easiest way for me to go was just cold turkey. It ***** for about 5-10 days depending on the person physically, but mentally it can hang on a bit longer. I still have good days and bad days, but more good than bad. There are things you can get in the ways of vitamins that will help out a bit, and walking really helps because it helps get your endorphins back up and running. Your dose wasn't as high as mine, so it may be a little easier for you. It wasn't even as bad for me as I had it all hyped up to be. I made it worse in my head than it actually was. As far as for the diazapam, I was on lorazepam on an off since I was 15 (I am 38 now), but I never took it every day, so it was really really easy to quit taking. I didn't even take it every week if I didn't have to. I know as far as the benzos go, people say that is best to do under doctor supervision. Alot of people also say that if you get on say, Suboxone, it just prolongs the withdrawals from the Norco, and even tapering down to bare minimum of that, the withdrawals and detox period are WAY worse than just cold turkey from the Norco. Hope this helps you a bit, and I'm sure others will be along soon to chime in.
