If you go ct maybe your mom could help with your daughter, you have received good advice and I'm sure you will get more. Put this behind you as you do not want to be inpatient with your daughter when not high, all that will do is add guilt and confuse your daughter. I would dread the future more then a week of feeling like I have a bad flu... Take care keep reading and posting
Many of us have pulled through this. You can too. Yes it is scary, but the fear is worse than actually doing it. don't listen to the things going on in your head. You will be told that you can't make it, the pain is just too bad, the withdrawals never end, etc..All of these thoughts will go through your head. None of them are true. You do live through it. The pain does level out. The w/d do end.
You've made a great start just by coming on this forum. You will get so much support and information here. If you go cold turkey , you will feel like you have a really bad flu for 4-7 days. The truly hard part comes after. You will have cravings and you will need a lot of support. This forum and maybe N/A will help with that part. The Valium will help a little with detox, but be careful, us addicts tend to swap addictions easily.
i have taken 2 tens today and realizing i dont have any left i called my mom and cried to her about how ashamed i am of myself! I am scared
I would try to get your dose down a little. And like Goingtomakeit said, definitely check out the Health pages. Take the valium sparingly, to sleep. Definitely take vitamins. It will be about 4-5 days. The 5th day is when you start feeling better usually.
It will take several more days to start feeling better? That is if you have already quit. It is hard to know from your post if you already quit or are just thinking about it. Valium is OK to take but don't rely on it. Only use it when absolutely necessary. Take a look at the Health Pages on the right side of page. Check out the Thomas recipe and the amino acid posts.
