how long after taking suboxone can you take it again one day without withdrawal

I was taking oxycodone for back pain and when I was done months later I withdrawaled from it and got right on suboxone. now if I was told I would withdrawal from the oxycodone I would have never taken it in the first place but I went to suboxone and wasn't told about withdrawal from that either actually I was told that because of wening I would not go though that. But I quit subs cold turkey and my mind is not completely normal but then again how do I know what normal is. I took the suboxone for 2 yrs and never took a whole sub only either a half sometimes but most of the time a qtr of a sub. but how long after subs would it be ok to take for one day because one day not feeling right mentally will be great and I don't plan on taking it every day just once if I was gonna keep taking I wouldn't have quit. because sub withdrawal is way worse then oxycodone withdrawal without a doubt. and I would not advise anyone to cold turkey quit subs if you do quit just quit the oxycodone I have done that and was only 4 days compared to the duration of sub withdrawal. but can anyone answer my ? that has done it before honestly. thanks in advance.

Sub isnt to be taken every once in awhile when you are having an off day.  Are you doing anything with recovery care?

Why would u even chance it? Like most of us, it sounds like more of a mental crutch then anything else. Look at the question people ask on here, they are not wanting to actually quit only looking for permission or justify using "a little bit" or "another drug" if you read some of these post without trying to relate to them you would think this post are abosuluty insane. It sounds like you've made ahead as far as not using, and that's GREAT! As far as not feeling normal so you can use again that's just the addictive personality many deal with. I'm sure anyone close to you will be able to tell if your using again and thier eyes your not the normal person they know. You may feel normal/comfortable but everyone around you will be able to see the difference.  I'm wondering why you would jeopardize any clean time you may have? Obviously there is a problem or you wouldn't be on this site asking questions on Addiction & Substance abuse! Best wishes & Godspeed
