how long do the chills and night sweets last? I am on day two of my detox.
Well, that's a really short addiction period, and oxy is a partial agonist as opposed to a full. So you're probably in the clear for anything serious.
The problem is these experiences are subjective. The brief PAWS I experienced years ago one time seemed unbearable at the time... but compared to what I went to that last time, I now see it was a walk in the park. :-)
Of course, I wasn't taking much of anything to that helped because I didn't know any better. i was successful this time because I learned what was neccessary and prepared for it in advance.
Nothing kills an attempt at stopping drugs faster than finding out you don't have the right materials and attitude at hand to help you get thru it.

WOW! I hope I don't get that! I took about 10 5 mg oxys for the last 6 months. I hope I am in the clear!
PAWS is Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome. It's a period that can hit AFTER you've detoxed that depending on the type of drug you're using and how long you've used, can last for days, weeks, or even months (methadone is usually the case with months).
It's a milder version of withdrawal symptoms that in the short term are usually easy to cope with. But over a long period of time, they can be VERY distressing. sort of like having a low grade flu for weeks or months on end.

When I "Cold Turkey'd" off of methadone and opiates I was suffering from PAWS three months later. It's what made me give up my first time. For me it was debilitating weakness and lack of ability to sleep, with some body temperature fluctuation and skin sensitivity.

Then the 4 day period should apply (always exceptions). You may or may not suffer from PAWS. That's on an individual basis if you do, and how much.
Just be aware that the ginseng has a lot of caffiene in it which could actually be making your night sweats worse!
Try tossing some benadryl into the mix. It will help tamp down the shivers and skin sensitivity you're likely getting as well.

Well, I took about 10 hydros or oxys every day for the past 6 months. on day two of my detox. For my detox i am taking magnesium, potassium, green tea extract, korean ginseng for energy support and st. johns wart for mood support. all herbal. oh, and multi-vitamins.
usually the worst of it is over by day three and you start feeling more normal around day four. However, how long and how much can affect this. It also depends on just exactly WHAT you're taking.
