how long does marijuana stay in your system?

Ok the title says it all lol, How long does marijuana stay in your system? I never did marijuana so don't know is for my nephew he keeps saying he is not doing any and every test is positive and occording to him the last time he use was 5 months ago but every month the test is positive.

What do you guys think? is it like he says that it stays in your body for a long time or he is still using?

LOL..well it stays in your system a few weeks..it took me about a 3 weeks to test negative and I was a daily smoker..He is still smoking..

Dont know about that   i am pretty sure it would not show up in ur urine 5 months later..I have always heard 30 days if u r a daily user..it is stored in the fat cells so takes longer than pills...with a hair test it may be showing up...if he swares he is not using, he should request a blood test

Totally depends on the test   blood urine  hair     I don't know if he is lying or not,  but there is only one test that would show positive 5 months later.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but, I think you already know the answer. He is lying. THC, the drug that shows up in all tests, is filtered out of your system in no more than 28 days. As far as him saying the tests are different, they are. And also different in cost. The only test that shows THC usage after a 4 week cycle is a hair folicle test. But, a hair folicle test can cost upwards of $75. Which, is very rare for any type of municipal or regulated testing. I wish u luck in your trials with your nephew. I am raising my neice. I am a strict *******. But, she loves me for it. God bless. Oh, one other thing. Simply ask him if he has to pee when he is testing. If the answer is yes, then you have your answer. The 5 and 10 panel urine tests only will show usage of no more than 28 days prior. (usually no more than 14 days prior, but, it depends on fatty tissue in the body). God bless.

One more thing that can throw off test is hemp based products. The military are told to avoid the hemp oils and lotions. But I would bet you have your doubts about hi honesty, right?

Yeah I know the answer was "yes he is using" but since I don't know about marijuana and my sister either we just wanted to make sure.
