how long will this last?

it crazy to think i am withdrawing from oxy buy its happening. Just want to know how long it will last? first let me say i had only been taking anywhere from 10-20mgs a day for appx 2 months and was taking hydro b4 that for few months but only 15mg of that a day. i would only take in the morning to "get me going". i stopped using cold turkey and had terrible anxiety for hours at a time, used some .5mg xanax and didnt help. i like my cannabis and that made it so much worse, alcohol didnt help.  This is my fourth day w/o and anx is goin down but i cant quit with the night sweats and chills, just horrible. lots of back and neck pain, irritable. i take lots of hot baths, which help temporarily.  i guess what i am asking is: with as little mg's as i was taking, why is this taking so long and y are the sweats gettn worse at night? i figured by now this would b gettn better not worse. i still have quite a bit of oxy on me, but the way i feel i will never touch that **** again.  Is this a normal withdrawl? thanks for all the post, it has help lots.

I couldn't have oxy in my house. I may have whipped addictions butt for the moment but he is waiting for me to make another bad choice and I'll have the chase on again.

I am sure you are close to the end of this wd period...r u sure u want to keep those oxy's around tho?  I can not...it is not a good diea for me to have them in the house nor is it for most addicts...keep hanging in there,,,u r so close

As a former Oxy user I can honestly say that I started feeling better, not great, after 7 days, but keep in mind that I took ALOT more mgs per day than you listed. I also found that Xanax didn't help, but Valium did if you can get that it might help with the anxiety and also let you sleep. The other thing that helped me, more than I can say, is posting on here. Keep posting!!

It's different for everyone. I take it as a good sign you have the night sweats--it's your body getting rid of the toxins. I found that valium was help to me. I don't take xanax anymore because I would become addicted to them again. The only thing that kept me going was knowing that with everyday I was nearer to being better.
