how to detox 10mgs of pill form methadone??

i been on large doses of methadone..but only 10 mgs every 3rd day 5 mgs for 1 yr..how can i tapper the 10 mgs..i  i have high blood p..im on lisinopril,,clondine,and minoxidil..i wanted to go down 2.54 mgs every 5--7 days then till i get to 0..will i go threw the m,enail ctap bad??  i cant stand this meth,,i neen on it total of 4 yrs  was on perks 2 yrs prior..so let me know i just dont want to stop ct even on 10 mgs..i need to sleep..i have vistreal also and i also have a script for 4 mgs aday of xanax...i went ct one time off 20 mgs froze to the bone..last Jan i dropped 5 mgs wasent real bad..now i want off of it..im bipolar 1  and cant take other meds cuz of the depprant effects   thanks

Hey dude...well I just did a slow 8 1/2 mo taper off methadone I went from 150 to 0
and if I had to do it over I think I would jump off at 5mg  tapering below that just puts you in a constant state of withdrawal ...I went 1 mg a week for the last 10mg and once below
7 mg it got prity ruff...you sorta go thew 4 days of withdrawals ever time you drop a mg
hence 6 weeks of withdrawals....my final withdrawal was no diferent then tapering
below 5mg just lasted longer like 8 days instead of 4 ...if you insist on tapering below
5 your going to want to break your 10mg pills in 1/2 then powder them so you can cut them into a line....then break the line into 5 parts....take one part out each week
you taper...if your at 10mg do the same thing just take the 1/2 pill plus 4/5 of the other 1/2 pill till your down to 5...like I said if I had to do it over I would highly recommend jumping off at 5mg ...if you need more info just message me and we can go into more detal...good luck and god bless...Gnarly
