I'm completely addicted to diphenhydramine, I suffered flu like withdrawls as well as mood swings when I've tried to come off them, one time I successfully quit for a good month before I had a severe allergy attack that nothing else could quite stop including hives, and my asthma got irriated. However, How I did it, you wouldn't like. Irid the house of the pills and then deprived myself of sleep for a little over 24hrs during the time so that when I finally did go to sleep I would make it to sleep. Hope this helps.
