hydro vs. oxy

I just joined this site a few seconds ago so I can post this question, but I have been looking to this site for info for about a week. I didn't even realize I was addicted to hydrocodone until I got withdrawls from not taking them. I took hydros after my c-section about a yr ago, then after another surgery 2 mos. later due to complications of the c-section, and now I am taking them for a broken knee. Anyways, I've ended up totally addicted! I'm just wondering if you can take a small amount of oxycontin to comfortably get off hydro's? Aren't they different? I know this sounds stupid, I appologize.

Thanks so much for that info you sent. Do you think I should just quit them completely or take the last 4 oxy's I have (slowly)? If these are different drugs shouldn't I be having w/d from the hydro's right now? idk?

you will still have some wd.  But youre not taking enough to really matter.  You should feel better in a few days!

its hard to talk you may or may not is this the first time you have gone threw withdrawl if it is you may it hard to tell we will be here for you you will be able to get threw it remeber As yucky as it is wd is it worst day1 to5 then it get better .it just a small part of you great big wonderful life :)

I started using them like a year ago, but just on weekends, recreationally? But, then I started taking them in the afternoons everyday, and now I'm taking like 3-5 a day. They are 10's. Thanks for your help. So I haven't taken any hydro's yesterday or today but I took oxy like 1 and a half yesterday and today. I only have like 4 oxy's left, when they run out will I go through w/d from hydro's still? I feel like such a loser, I have two young daughters...ugh

itsnot supid but oxy is stronger the hydro and you may end up in a worse place then you started in how much hydro were you taking a day for how long >

yes, they are different.  Oxy is stronger.
