hydrocodine

how do I safely stop taking hydrocodine that I have been taking for more than 5 yrs. (10.325) up to 12 pills a day - prescribed by a pain mgmt doctor.

Help befre i looose it.

HI and welcome to the forum you came to a good place for help .....well there are 2 schools of thought out on getting off them you can do a taper reducing your dose every couple of days this takes time a lot of will power and perseverance your withdrawals wont be as sever but there drawn out over a longer period of time it is doable but to say the least difficult most addicts dont have the ability to do it this way the other way is C/T and just jump off this way is faster usually around 4 days its a lot like ketching the flu with some added anxiety we see most of our members do it this way and have good success getting free of the pills
you really need to prepare your self mentally for however you decide to do it we can help you out with some home remadys that will at lest make you a little more comfortable just let us know when your ready to get started...go into this with a positive attitude and try not to let fear into the equation....keep posting for support you will find plenty here
