hydrocodone

I have been taking hydros for about a year last 6 months everyday anywhere from 2-5 a day 10's or 7.5's. Last dose yesterday at about 8:30 in the am. I am having chills, hot flashes, anxiety, body pain, fatigue, sneezing and itchy throat. When will I peak and the body ache passes? That's the worst.

Today I feel better than yesterday which I thought I would feel worse. I sleep fine but I do take ambien. Do you think I got out lucky this time or is it going to hit me later? My dose Sunday was very low. I am praying I am good!

usually people don't realize that the more times they put themselves through withdrawal the harder it gets each time.
i too, get panic attacks.  come out of nowhere.

for me, the RLS and insomnia are the worst symptoms.  the anxiety comes a little later for me.

The longer you use the worse the withdrawals get.  I have been through many and they seem to get worse and last longer every time.
Panic attacks and anxiety are very common during or after detoxing.
Check out some meditation for anxiety on youtube, pick up some valerian root at the drug store and post here if you're having one.
I know how scary they can be but you just have to fight through them for awhile.

Did you get rid of anything you had around and lost all contacts, etc. It is most important to set yourself up for success. During the physical withdrawal the temptation is great and if they are around you will probably take them. Stay here with us and post when you need to. There is always someone here to support you and make suggestions. Hang in there and whatever you do just don't use!!

Hiya Winks. Yup, that's the good ol' withdrawls. Look up the Thomas recipe on here: that will tell you everything you need to get to ease wds. Wd's last typically 7 or so days, peaking around day 3 to 5. You won't feel great after 7 or so days, but you will start to feel slowly better each day. You haven't been using that long relatively so that is in your favor!

Very VERY vital to get an aftercare in place. Once the drugs are gone, we need a program to keep us clean.

Keep posting here for support:)
