When we stop hydro all our pains can seem intensified. When we are on it we block little aches and pains and so when its gone, our pain receptors are "bare" so to speak and pain is felt more intensely.
How much were you taking and how often and for how long? I'm glad you have decided to quit if that the case and welcome to our forum.
Not only is actual pain unmasked for the first time in a long time, but the addicted brain will actually create phantom aches and pains -- anything to get the opiates back in the system.
i agree... my body produced pains i know i shouldnt have... ive never had back pain or leg pain until i started to w/d. my back aches all the time... still does (im at day 5). hang in there. it will get better. those hot baths in the Thomas rec. helped me alot during some of the worst of it. so try that out. stay strong and good luck :)
I am going to say yes, cause it definately did for me...In my first 5-9 days of quitting, my back was killing me....So i feel that this is normal...But i am no Dr. so not certain...I was taking percocets and hydros, whatever i could get...
Hope this helps
