i feel normal

well i started my sub this morning and i feel great i feel like before i toke anything. its been about 15 hours since i toke a perc. it feels going i can feel like this with out using. it feels good that i have started on the clean path. i will keep everyone posted

Yes, please continue to post - --  I used Sub and thought it was great ----   Eventually though, I realized why people can get hooked on Sub.   It just feels so good to finally feel almost normal again ---- Congratulations on your quest to get clean.   You will make it - -  just begin to taper on the Sub as soon as you can.  Your own body can tell you when that  is - -- the best way to tell is to only take a small amount every 30 minutes or so until your W/D's disappear and that will be the dose you need twice a day - then start to taper from that.   You won't be "scared mommie" any longer - but "mommie in charge"  Good luck

its been 22 hours since my last dose of perc and 8 and 1/2 since i toke my sub and im still feeling good still no w/ds im so excited if im doing this good my first day i can imagine how much better it will be tomorrow.

glad that you are feeling great finally. keep to the suboxone schedule. i have heard that it will have done its job in just 2 or 3 weeks and then you are free of everything.

just remember all the posts that you have read about how much more difficult it is to come off of (the suboxone) than the pain pills are. do n ot let yourself get addicted even though you are feeling great. it is a bigger mess.

do u have a taper plan for the sub?   do be safe...what was ur original doc and how much daily did u take?  just remeber that sub is much more powerful than most of the drugs we took before...1 mg is equal to 10-15 mg of methadone...30 mg of hydro...so 3 mg of sub is equal to 90 mg of hydro daily...be safe...use a taper and ur common snese

im being very care full my doctor has me on a plan to be done with in 2 and half months. that includes tapering off it. i on 16mgs a day if needed. today i went 11 hours between doses which really made me happy cause when i was taking the parcs i was needing to take it ever 3 hours or bye the 4th hour i would be really sick. i dont know if it was the sub that amde me feel better today or just the fact of knowing im going on the right path and not needing the percs to feel better along with the sub.
