i know it's the wrong forum, but....Dutchess, maybe???

I read here every day, and know how helpful you all are, and thought someone might know the answer to this question...
I take 225mg Effexor XR daily for panic disorder, and the manufacturer recommends avoiding alcohol while taking it.  If I take it in the morning, does anyone know if having a few drinks occasionally in the evening (2-4 drinks....no more than 4) will kill me, or otherwise cause problems?  The effexor doesn't make me drowsy or anything.  Sorry for being off-topic, but I really respect all of you, and follow your progress.  I know that if anyone knows about this--maybe some of you take anti-depressants??, they will try to help me.  Thank you!

My anti depressant also says this.. when I asked my doc they said to just be careful taking them close together with the alcohol.  The can intesify the effects of one another.  Dutchess would be the one to ask but I don't know if she is around this weekend I know she was sick this week..
