Do you want to get help because more then anything else you have to really want to get off of drugs to be able to get and stay clean .How much are you taking daily? There are a few ways you can get off of them you can try tapering of or CT it just depends what works best for you .Then recovery care is the MOST important part off the process .Honestly getting off the pills is the easier part ,staying off of them are the hard part .There is aa or Na or an addiction therapist or a therapist that is very knowledgeable about addiction dont worry about anyone taking your kids away just do everything you can to get better .The other possibility if there is anyway seen as you have ins is going to rehab that great too but hard for many to have the time and money .Good luck we will be here for support .

I was in the same shape and I am currently going thru w/d and on day 8. First it is very tough to admit your an addict. It took me close to a year to finally say that I am addict and need to get it under control. Non Addicts don't even have a clue what you go thru they think all we are "druggies" and not this person is in need of help. After a few weeks you start taking them just NOT to get sick. I am a health care professional and I had not idea about this disease until I experienced it myself. Lortabs was my drugs of choice with percocet added in when i could get a hold of it. I was originally prescribed Lortab due to degenerative joint disease. The symptoms you expressed is exactly what you will experience and it gets worse before it gets better. With that said everyone is different and experiences w/d symptoms differently. I had more anxiety issues than physical and i was taking 20 10/500 daily. There are many OTC such as Immodium A-D, and herbs that can help. There is a great recipe for people like us that don't have a lot of money to spend on clinics and it is called the Thomas recipe just google it and you will find it. It does work trust me on that. Don't go to clinics to get methadone or suboxone because you are trading one drug for another and you with w/d from those two, and for those that say the w/d are not that bad from these two are Full of S***, because i have witnessed individuals going thru withdrawal from these and they are really bad. First because they are long acting means it takes longer to get out of your system, and secondly this means the withdrawals take longer. Where as the Lortab is short acting which means you will still go thru w/d but not as long. I am very knowledgeable about this due to all the info on the net. I got prepared for this and i have been in w/d before but relapsed. Physical w/d is the easy part it the mental that is the most challenging. I don't want to keep taking up space so if you have anyother qts i will be happy to answer.
