There is nothing wrong with looking into a faster taper but we are not doctors. Yes there are some sub doctors that are in it for the money and others that are in it to help others .I would research find a good one that also provides or helps you line up recoverycare .We would be doing a member a disservice giving them a sub taper plan that we made up for them with drugs they had NOT gotten from a quilified sub doctor.
It sounds like you folks haven't dealt with sub dr before. Around here there are only a few. They have no interest in the quick taper because that's not paying their bills. Sub dr wants to keep one in it for as long as possible, that's why they are the worst to discuss it with. I thought I could find some help here but I guess I was mistaken.
If you actually want Sub to work you need to find a Sub doctor, take the drug legally, come up with a plan that includes aftercare, and get into recovery.
I don't have a Dr plus they don't listen or know anything about the drug. Dr just wants you to keep coming back for that check. Trust me on that one.
you need to talk to the doctor that prescribed it to you tell them you are only interested in a fast taper have them help you make you up a taper plan
What does your sub doctor say?
