Hey cid hang in there as you will truly see that its the thought of w/d's that is scarier than the w/d them self the best thing you can do is hydrate and start replenishing all of you vitmans and minerals potasiam,b12,b6 if you have multi vitams if not bannans and green leafy stuff salad spinich.but the long short of it is it does take some time but it is totaly doable. And as im sure u know everyone on here are sincerly pulling for you.

Have been up all night. Huddled down under blankets. I just want to die and get it over with.

Hello...I had never heard of Nucynta either and found the same information as august1965.  I quit from a very high dose and long term use (15 years) of Tramadol (mainly, in addition to various other opiates).  I too used the Thomas Recipe and found it very helpful, and did take extra vitamin C as well.  I had pretty intense sweating, restlessness and creepy/crawly feeling skin in my detox; the worst of which lasted about 2 to 3 days.  I spent a lot of time in the tub, soaking in hot/warm water.  Epsom salts will help to ease achiness and the restless, uneasy feelings.  Try Immodium for diarrhea and be sure to drink water/Gatorade or some kind of fluids.  You MUST do this so you don't get dehydrated.  I found that Vitamin Water "Revive" formula was a lifesaver for me.  Even though food probably doesn't sound good you need to get some kind of nutrition; if you can, try toast or crackers or soup.  Or, protein drinks of some kind until you can do solid foods.  After 48 to 72 hours you should start to feel better.  Most people are over the physical discomfort in a week or so.  In any case please just hang in there - these are just symptoms and they WILL get better.  Stay close to this site and keep posting for support - we are here for you.  You can do this!

You are not a baby. This is some seriously rough stuff to go through. You are doing it though. And what a wonderful Mother's Day gift to mom... you are clean!

I have never taken this (or heard of it), but I looked it up and it said it was comparable to hydro (vicodin), percodin and tramedol.  Anyway, I have had enormous success with vitamin C...in fact many people have.  Along with the posted "Thomas recipe."  Vitamin C will relax you and get you thru this with very little problems and the Thomas recipe will build your health and body  back up.  The doctor I went to got me on Calcium Ascorbat (vitamin C) every hour along with something for the diarea.  Remember, every hour.  Up to 30 grams a day.  Good luck.
