im back and i am starting 2 go thru suboxin withdrawl(withdrawal)

i was doin well for awhile but i fell off the wagon.when i first found this site it was the best thing to happen to me but i thought i was good and stoped chatting. NOW I"M BACK! WORSE THEN EVER!i've been takin small amounts of subs to help me stay away from the opiates. now i want to stop the subs. i was using them, not abusing them, for about 2 months and i took my last piece sat night.i have no energy and the "electric shocks" are constant. about 2 weeks now.i starte taking zanny's to sleep but im afraid of those too. i'm half tempted to take a very small piece of sub so i can be functional at work but i'm afraid that i will start the w/ds again.what do you think?should i just go back to opiates and taper off those? i want my life back and i want my wife to enjoy me for who she fell in love with. she is my backbone and i dont want her to halff to deal with this and i don't want to be doing this anymore. any help from u great people will be great help.

hey my brother, I miss you, i wish it was under better circumstances. I did the SUB thing. How where you taking, for how long, last doses? SUB has a long azz half life like 37 hrs. I dropped off at 2mg and went through 2 weeks of WD then had to go back to a slow taper to a crumb and then jump off. I went back to the opiates and went on a 6 month run. I just relapsed after 60 days of clean time but I am back as well. I go to 2 NA meetings a day and these people have helped so so much (as well as med help). Bro send me some IM or notes and keep in touch. Its all good you will work this out. watch it with the benzo they are a b!tch to get off if ya get hooked.

I am getting ready for a meeting now some one else will post

keep in touch and god bless

Hi Zbone - what dose of sub were you taking when you stopped?  Also, it has been two weeks since your last dose?  If your dose was relatively low - and you are at two weeks, you should start to feel better relatively soon.  If you jumped off at anything more than 2mg, then I would possibly entertain slapperman's advice and taper down to crumps before attempting to jump from a high dose.  If you are starting to feel better, even marginally, then this would mean that you are nearing the end of the withdrawal and I would stick with it.  I took sub for nearly 4 years and I could not taper on my own - had to go through a medical detox.  Keep posting, there are some others here as well who can advise you on suboxone.

Hi zbone - did you take a whole tablet?  The dose means 8 mg suboxone and 2 mg naloxone.  If you tookt he whole tablet and have jumped off at that dose, it's going to be really rough.  Confirm and we can talk about a plan for you.
